The following information applies to UK citizens and/or British passport holders, and is current as of 1st January, 2021. Participants of other nationalities should check their own visa requirements before applying. Remember to use official government websites only!

Kilimanjaro - You need a visa to enter Tanzania. This must be arranged before travel. You should apply online here. Please read the Visa Application Guidelines in full before proceeding. An ordinary (tourist) visa costs $50 and takes up to ten days to process. You should submit your e-visa application no later than 4 weeks before your departure date.
(Please note: American Nationals travelling to Tanzania must apply for a multiple-entry visa, which costs $100.)
Everest Base Camp - You need a visa to enter Nepal. Historically, it has been possible to obtain a visa on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, however this has previously been the cause of significant delay, and the Nepalese Authorities have also been known to suspend this at short notice. We therefore strongly recommend obtaining your tourist visa before travel, through the Embassy of Nepal in London. You should apply for a 30-day, multiple-entry visa, at a cost of £40. You can apply in-person or by post. The processing time for each application is 2-3 working days. We advise all participants to submit their applications at least 4 weeks before travel.
Machu Picchu - You do not currently require a visa to enter Peru. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of arrival.
Lost City - You do not currently require a visa to enter Colombia. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of arrival.
High Atlas Mountains - You do not currently require a visa to enter Morocco. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least three months from your date of arrival.
Budapest Marathon - You do not currently require a visa to enter Hungary. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of arrival.
London to Paris Cycle - You do not currently require a visa to enter France. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of arrival.

Remember: Participants are responsible for meeting all entry requirements of their destination country. Failure to obtain a valid visa for travel may result in the termination of your trip. In the event that you are not able to clear Customs and Border Control at your port of entry, you will be responsible for all costs relating to your repatriation.
