If you have selected ‘Challenge Without Flights’, you will be responsible for arranging your own international flights to and from your challenge. In this case, your tour package will commence once the main group arrives at your accommodation in-country, and will terminate at the point the main group departs for their international return flight.
Note: If there are any domestic flights included in your tour package (for example, the return flights to the island of Zanzibar as part of our Safari & Zanzibar extension trip), these will be provided regardless of which travel option you choose.
If you have already registered but later wish to change your travel option, you must complete a Trip Alteration Request. This will be reviewed within five working days of submission. To add or remove flights to your travel package, there is a fee of £100 (plus any non-recoverable supplier costs) payable to Choose a Challenge at the point your registration is updated. The deadline to make changes to your booking is 10 weeks before your date of departure.
Once you've purchased your international flights, you will need to send us your flight details. You can do this either by email or by uploading them to your registration page.
For a small fee, we can assist those organising their own international travel by providing an airport transfer to their accommodation. This can either be a private or a group transfer. If you wish to accompany the rest of the group on their airport transfer, you must be at the airport in time for their arrival, or travel on the same international flight.
